Hubei Turquoise Copper pendant on beeswax-finished cotton cord.
It is no surprise that I felt drawn to house this beautiful large piece of turquoise in a copper casing as turquoise is itself a copper aluminium phosphate mineral. The blue is actually caused by copper, which if you have ever seen oxidise does I. Fact turn a green blue shade. 
I recommend wearing this pendant high on the chest, where it will look beautiful as a statement piece. 
Turquoise may be one of the longest used gemstones and it was being mined by the Egyptians in Sinai in 3200BC.
Turquoise is a stone for finding wholeness and one’s truth. It can help us communicate and manifest our truth. It is an empowering stone if you are shy and can help us express our authentic being.
