This full moon in Taurus is conjunct Uranus, giving a sense of change and instability, which may present as anxiety for some and excitement and energy for others. Otherwise, we see sextiles and trines, harmonious aspects to Pluto and Neptune at the end of their transits through Capricorn and Pisces respectively, which may help anxious people not catastrophize too much and will provide even more optimism to those already feeling good about the change in the air. We will also be looking at Mercury and Jupiter, Venus and Mars, and the forward motion of both Saturn and Pluto. An interesting and hopeful picture.

This full moon in Aries of October 2024 is conjunct to Chiron in Aries, and in square to its own ruler Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Aquarius. There has likely been a major build up in pressure over the last week, finding release and hopefully relief in the lunation itself.

Annular solar eclipse and new moon in Libra.

This partial lunar eclipse and full moon in Pisces is the first in a new series of eclipses along the Virgo Pisces axis, lasting until February 2027. A lunar eclipse is always an ending, a lunar eclipse in Pisces is the ending of a complete cycle. The last of the previous series of Virgo Pisces eclipses took place in 2016, marking the end of a previous phase of life and opening up another. Here we begin to say goodbye to that phase as we reach a new turning point in our lives and open up a new cycle.

This second full moon in Capricorn in a row is a reminder and a second opportunity to flush out attachments to situations in the physical and psychological realms which we are struggling to let go of, despite already having got the message with the first full moon in Capricorn that we are holding onto something that isn't working for us. At this point it may have become clear that the issue runs deeper than you had given it credit for, with this full moon happening so close to Pluto, meaning we have to address our attachments and their connection to shame and guilt as well as past hurt and trauma that we have pushed down into the underworld of our subconscious.

For some, this full moon is about processing loss and accepting the chasm between the reality of our lives and how we would wish them to be. Others may have struck up new relationships in the last couple of weeks when the Sun, Mercury and Venus were in Gemini, but the energy may have suddenly changed, and such relationships should be navigated carefully over the next couple of weeks if we want to hold onto them.

This video is about the full moon in Sagittarius of May 2024. Firstly, for some reason I think my time is out by some minutes, and I may have misread the event chart, because I later saw in two places that the actual U.K. time for the moon reaching fullness was around 14:50 and not 14:17. Secondly, as you can probably see I am working with some new recording equipment to try and have the right screen size for YouTube while keeping the sound clear. This means that I had no editing capacity for this one and I’m sure I will annoy people with my endless fillers that I tend to otherwise edit out as much as possible. Thirdly, I am so snowed under by my schedule right now (I have a Saturn Mars transit 😭) that I had to fit this in at 6:00 am before work and so generally I’m aware this is not my brightest moment but I try to show up consistently anyway (paying my due to saturn - being humbled daily but trying to battle through (mars). Update on the occasion of the new moon in Taurus of May 2024. After what must have been a difficult week for many of us, with Pluto going retrograde at the time of its square to Venus, the new moon heralds in a future of possibilities, while Saturn in Pisces, giving us a stoic attitude to the ups and downs of life, supports us in the transition.

Fortnightly sky update for the Full Moon in Scorpio April 2024. Just when we were so confident in our direction in cardinal positive and masculine Aries, suddenly we are confronted with a full Moon in negative, feminine, reflective and fixed Scorpio, stopping us in our tracks and forcing us to go inward and reevaluate our attachments but this might be a moment where by adapting appropriately to a rude disruption of our plans, we can tap into change that can bring light in and expand our horizons in ways that we hadn’t imagined.

Fortnightly sky update for the New Moon in Pisces on 10 March 2024 at 9.00 am GMT. The Sun—Moon conjunction in the sign of Pisces, sandwiched this year between Saturn and Neptune signifies a personal Easter for us all as we acknowledge those things that could not be for us, and embrace al the possibilities of an unknown future as we await the resurrection of the sun in Aries later this month.
